This shirt was created to celebrate the history and folklore behind Moll Dyer and the Moll Dyer rock.  Legend has it, Moll Dyer was a witch and was blamed for numerous deaths in St. Mary’s County.  In response to these deaths, angry St. Mary’s Countians ran her out of her cottage on the coldest night of the year back in 1698.  She was found days later, frozen to a rock…one hand on the rock and one lifted, either in prayer or curse.
